The Association of Open Workshops (Verbund Offener Werkstätten e.V.) is not only a network and communicator, but also interested in the scientific research and examination of practices in workshops and experimental testing of new approaches. Open workshops are in themselves " laboratories of new forms of solidary, circular society, sustainable development and production, repair and repurposing of materials. They offer OpenSpace for communktybased practices and mutual empowerment. The Association can be requested as a research partner in these and related fields.
